At Olayemi Jewellery, we use quality metals in our jewellery pieces. However, fashion jewellery can experience wear and tear over time. Therefore to extend the life of your jewellery, please follow the following guidance:

Keep them in the jewellery box or sleeve it comes with

Avoid sweat and working out in your jewellery.
Wipe the jewellery with a jewellery cloth (if provided) or a damp cloth to clean the surface.
Do not sleep in your jewellery.
Avoid using chemicals such as cream and perfumes.
Avoid swimming and washing with your jewellery on (although stainless steel can usually withstand this)

Those of you who are sensitive to metals should not purchase any brass jewellery. The best metals for you to purchase on my site is anything that is stainless steel, Sterling Silver or Gold Filled. All of my earrings are made with sterling silver earring posts, so this should be safe for you to purchase.
